Tiny Trees! Ages 2-4
These classes can be tailor made for either parent and child classes, or classes just for the children at nurseries, schools, homes or parks. For nursery rates please contact Beth at firstname.lastname@example.org
For children ages 2 and 3, it can be a wonderful bonding experience to try yoga with you, the care giver. The focus of these sessions will be much more on the child, and your participation to encourage them to learn and grow, as opposed to some Mummy and me classes which focus more on the workout and the optional participation of the child. Imaginative story-telling, song and games will be used to encourage children to learn in a fun environment. On special days, our parachute might make an appearance, or perhaps even a zoo of animals! Come along to class to explore with us. We learn through the alphabet, to make associations to yoga with day-to-day life.
For children ages 4 and 5, individual sessions are recommended with friends, as a supplement to other pre-school activities. Through balance, partner work, fun and games, children will enhance their gross motor skills, in addition to their ability to concentrate.
Family Yoga are sessions that are fun fun fun. Group games, balances and team work are incorporated into family sessions to make yoga a fun activity that can be enjoyed by everyone. Positive messages are interlaced throughout to create a happy, safe environment where everyone is listened to and respected. Family yoga, though we will do our best to fully incorporate all ages, is perfect for children aged 3 and upwards. As for the other end of the scale, you are never too old to enjoy one of our family sessions, so come along and join in! Perhaps get a few families together, and a great time will be had by all!
